• Respect your teachers by being on time and dressing appropriately for class
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late to class, you will not be allowed to participate in class and you will need to sit and take notes.
  • If you are not dressed according to the dress code, you will be given one warning. If you come to class a second time without the appropriate dress, you will be asked to sit and take notes for that class.
  • If you are disrespectful, (talking in class, not paying attention, etc), you will be asked to sit and take notes.
  • Please remember to thank your teachers at the end of each class.
  • Please treat your fellow dancers with kindness and respect.
  • We strongly recommend a dance bag for dance shoes and/or clothing changes.
  • Please write name on dance shoes and bag.
  • Leave valuables, jewelry, watches and money at home. Wear street shoes into studio, then change into dance shoes.
  • Water bottles are permissible in class if the lid is secure.
  • No sticky sweet drinks are allowed in the classroom.
  • Place water bottles against the wall, well away from the dance area.
  • Dispose of bottles in the trash receptacles.
  • Absolutely no gum in the classroom.
  • There will be no food, drink, or smoking allowed in the studio.
  • There is a patio area outside for this purpose.
  • A cover-up is to be worn to and from the studio.
  • For their safety, young children must be with a parent at all times.
  • Parent must return to pick up young children before class ends.
  • Tuition is due and payable on the first of each month or can be brought in during the first class lesson of the month or mailed to the studio.
  • We accept cash, checks or credit card.
  • Tuition paid after the 10th will be assessed a $15.00 late fee.
  • After the 20th of the month, the late fee will be $20.00.
  • Returned check fee is $25.00.
  • MRDA will close for most legal holidays including the weekend following Thanksgiving, and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
  • Any lesson missed due to holidays, illness/injury may be made up in the same type of class within 30 days from the date missed.
  • Please notify the studio in advance of any absences or vacations. Click here to report an absence.
  • All evaluation classes are charged as a single lesson.
  • Students who consistently miss class (i.e., two or more unexcused absences) may be dropped and the first person on the wait list will be added.
  • There will be no refunds, extensions, or transfers unless authorized by the director.
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
