McCoy Rigby Conservatory of the Arts Summer Stock four-week intensive brings together a diverse group of talented and motivated young artists, ages 13 – 21, from high schools and colleges throughout the nation. It is the only professional-level Summer Stock program for young performers in the country.

Under the direction of national leading artists and arts educators, this rigorous Summer Stock program includes intensive instruction in acting, voice and dance taught by Broadway’s leading professionals and culminates in two, professionally produced Musical Theatre productions. Participants will have the opportunity to perform in a variety of production formats including cabaret and large scale theatrical productions.

Participants are placed by audition which takes place the first week of the intensive. The MRCA Summer Stock experience will promote communication and collaboration between unique young people from across the United States, whom would not otherwise meet, yet share the common aspiration of a career in professional musical theatre.
